Daniel (Dan) Occhipinti is General Counsel and Director of Government Affairs at Pacific Seafood Group. Headquartered in Clackamas, Oregon, Pacific Seafood is one of the state’s largest privately held companies with nearly 3,000 employees at 41 facilities in the US and Canada. Prior to joining Pacific Seafood, Dan was a business litigation attorney in the law firm of Stoel Rives LLP.
Dan grew up in southwest Portland and attended Wilson High School before going on to earn a B.S. in Philosophy and Political Science from University of Oregon, and a J.D. from Berkeley Law School.
Dan has been recognized as a “Forty Under 40” winner by Portland Business Journal, a “Rising Star” by Oregon Super Lawyers, and a graduate of the Portland Business Alliance’s Leadership Portland program. He serves on the Clackamas County Economic Development Commission and the Portland Business Alliance Board of Directors. Dan is a past member of the Portland Small Business Advisory Council and the Oregon Health Sciences University Diabetes Center Advisory Board, and is a co-founder and Emerging Leaders for Oregon, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to informing, inspiring and equipping Oregon’s next generation of civic and business leaders.
